Important of Social Networking

Through Social Networking I had learnt about Google App more clearly. At firstly, I had no idea to Google App which I only know how to use google scholar to find my information while doing my assignment. Luckily in this subject, I had comprehended the benefit of using Google App from my lecturer Mr. Lye. Google App includes Google’s popular web applications including Google Docs, Google Form, Google Slide, Google Blogger and Gmail. It is pretty similar with Microsoft Word Office but Google App still got more advantage than Microsoft Word Office.

In Social Networking class, Mr. Lye had formed me and my course mate into a few groups to complete the note taking assignment. My group members and I had finished the assignment by using Google Docs which it is more safety and convenience. First, you can write everywhere. If you download the app in your smartphone or IPad, you can make edits or add new paragraphs anytime when you ideal strikes example in the toilet, on the bus and etc. Otherwise, you can also use Google docs from any desktop computer by singing in at docs.google.com. Therefore you no need to worry about whether having the right machine or device with you. Second, you can get and manage feedback. When I’m doing my assignment, I would like to get feedback from my term members which can improve my essay and correct the wrong grammar. Using the Google Docs  can makes that easy, when you're ready for input you can set permissions to " Can comment" by hit the big blue Share button. So the people you've shared with be able to add comments or make any suggestions to you and you also can choose to accept or reject. Within this assignment, I had more understand the function of Google Docs.

I also had learnt how to create a survey using Google Forms. Google Forms is a streamlined way to help me make a survey or poll with your own style. You can use your own photo or logo, and choose the colors that you like to complete your own unique form. Next, Google Forms can organize & analysed. Google Forms can neatly and automatically collect your surveys in Forms, with real time response info and charts. More importantly, take your data further by viewing it all in Sheets.

Through this subject, I also know how to make slide by Google Slide. This is my first time using Google Slide to done my presentation and before I only used the Microsoft PowerPoint.  Google Slide can make sure your slide is safe with auto-saving. All your changes are automatically saved as you type. Apart from this, you can even use revision history to see who made the change and old versions of the same presentation.

Besides the Google App, I also have learnt more knowledge about social media sites, such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.  After the Social Networking class, I start use YouTube to eLearning instead of using to watching video. Also, the Facebook can help me make friends with people who different couriers which can understand the different culture.

Lastly, I very appreciate to Mr. Lye for his lecture of Social Networking. This subject me help more understand about the Google App which is very helpful for my future. Moreover, I also know the important and correct way to use social media sites.
